Mission Statement
Founded in 2006 by a group of students from the graduate group in computer science at UC Davis, Women in Computer Science strives to provide support for women in Computer Science by promoting interaction and mentorship.

We will work together to encourage interest in computer science among female (undergraduate and high school) students.

We envision WICS promoting a more unified department by bringing together students and faculty in a fun and educative atmosphere!
